Installing the operating system

The software requires a server with Fedora, which is a free open source Linux operating system. Our instructions take you through exactly how to do this, and the information that you will need to know before you begin. Alternatively, you can use the Red Hat Enterprise operating system (we do not provide instructions for this).

Feedback and Enhancements

  • We have a Spokes email list for you to post comments and suggestions to. You can find this at http://www.jiscmail.ac.uk/lists/archives-hub-spokes.html.
  • A Spokes Users' and Developers' Group meets periodically to discuss progress and developments. All Spokes and potential Spokes institutions are welcome to attend. We will announce meetings via the Spokes email list.
